Salisbury Racecourse and enotions – a ten year partnership

We’ve worked with Jeremy and his team at Salisbury Racecourse for ten years now. Goodness me those years have flown!

2003 was when we launched their very first web site and things have changed so much since then. In those earlier days, we, at enotions, had to update their site for them. There was no latest up-to-the-minute race and runners details and you certainly couldn’t buy your own race tickets online.

But the internet, the racecourse site and enotions have all grown, and they’re bigger and better than ever.

Ten years on from that first web site, the 2013 season site has been launched. The site, built on enotions’ content management system, provides visitors with the latest race details, latest going, race riders, events and news, as well as allowing users to buy tickets for the individual race days online, directly from the site.

Salisbury Racecourse have been a wonderful customer of enotions. Open to new ideas, appreciative, visionary and ambitious in what they want from their site and their course, we’ve loved every minute of our time working with them.

We look forward to the next ten years!


It’s official – enotions makes beautiful sites

We always like to hear from our clients regarding how much they love their web site.  So we were bowled over to receive the following from Lucinda Boddy, who runs the gorgeous girls’ gifts store and online shop Lulus Boutique – www.lulus.co.uk.

“I just wanted to share this email with you re the new website! This is BRILLIANT news for Lulus and something that I’ve been desperate for over the last couple of years! The new website has got us the deal! ”

‘The deal’ was for Lulus to be given the opportunity to sell Cath Kidson from their site lulus.co.uk. Cath Kidson wrote, “We have reviewed your website and we are more than happy to approve it for selling Cath Kidston, we think it looks amazing and what’s so lovely is it is a true representation of you and your shop.”

At enotions we make a point of getting to know a business before we start any design or development work. This ‘getting to know you’ attitude ensures that we design and build sites which are a true representation of the business in question.

We’re delighted for Lucinda. She’s been a wonderful client of ours for over ten years and we’re so pleased that together we’ve been able to create a very special online presence for her.

Sleep? Pah! Sleep’s for wimps.

So far, 2013 has been one of the busiest we’ve known in all the 11 years of producing web sites and creating brands for businesses! It’s a good sign, both for enotions but also, we hope, for the larger business world.

We’ve been working morning, noon and night to get the projects out the door. It’s been exciting, inspiring, and just a little bit insane!

Sleep? Pah! Sleep’s for wimps.

Projects launched in 2013 so far include;

  • a new season web site for Salisbury Racecourse,
  • a brand new web site and online shop for one of England’s oldest and most respected brands, Woods of Windsor,
  • an online shop for Notting Hill’s famous Hair Organics hair salon,
  • a brand new site and shop for the South’s premier girlie boutique, Lulus,
  • a brand new site, including online studio booking facility and travel guide, for London’s world famous Holborn Studios
  • and lastly, but by no means least, the complete rebrand of Salisbury’s biggest, oldest and best family owned and run building firm Mouldings.

We’re currently readying four new sites for launch in February, and then onwards! The combination of our excellent dedicated design and development team, the rugged yet flexible CMS we’ve developed, our hook up with Ecwid online commerce, as well as our personal and down to earth approach has really helped us achieve what we have this year to date.

Oh, and the fact we don’t need much sleep!
