There's nothing the enotions lot like more than a good chat

Rob makes frequent updates to our blog, and when they get time away from projects, so do the rest of the team. We've (heavily) edited out the stuff about Rob's band and Seb's love life, so it should be palatable reading!

Supplying The Supply Group with their marketing collateral

One of the UK’s leading telecommunications providers, The Supply Group, have relaunched their site, and consequently their branding, thanks to enotions.

Based in Romsey, The Supply Group have worked with us for a quite some time now. Initially our role was to take over their old site and make sure updates were made as and when they needed to be. But the site was a fairly stubborn old beast and it was agreed that the site would be rebuilt using our award winning CMS system.

Immediately after launch life was much improved with updates to the site now being child’s play. However, we all shared issues over the old inherited site design. Nick Zammit, The Supply Group’s Sales Manager, knew having a site that was easy to update was all very well but what he also needed was site that would turn heads and represent their dynamic and forth-thinking company in the right light.

Roll on a month or two later and their new design was unveiled, the new brand supported with the CMS behind the scenes. We were delighted with it, and so were the Supply Group, so much so that we were asked to produce their Letterheads, online documentation, email footers and compliments slips in the style taken from the site.

It’s been the full package this project, from brand development to front end design to site build through to back end CMS. It’s been great fun and a testament to our range of skills.

And it’s been a really enjoyable project because of the personnel at Supply. We look forward to a long and happy ongoing relationship with Nick and his team.

More on enotions’ SpireFM award

So, we’re all still buzzing from our award on Thursday evening from SpireFM - The E-Commerce Award. A very proud moment for all of us here on the team. Sadly there was no celebrating over the weekend as we had pressing things like weeds to pull up in the garden and a gig to play (in a pitiful attempt for Rob to hold onto his youth). However, something will be hatched in the coming weeks, I am sure.

A number of people have asked us why the judges chose us. We think that question had been asked out of genuine interest rather than disbelief, and here is the official answer from the judging panel!

“The judges said ‘the winners of this award bring a breath of fresh air to ’see’ technology at its best. Not only do they have an interesting, informative, modern looking site, but it is fully interactive with their clients.

“They are providing the most up to date technology in the running of not only their front window (their web site), but also in the organisation of the whole company.

“The directors have reinvented themselves and used their best talent to push themselves even further and to provide that knowledge to others.”

So there you have it. To celebrate our win, we’ll be appearing on SpireFM soon! Listen out for our ad.

Caroline Wood Design goes live

The web site for interior designer Caroline Wood has gone live at http://www.carolinewooddesign.com.

The latest in a whole series of web sites recently designed and built by enotions, the new site is a masterclass in style and design - which hopefully mirrors the qualities that can be found in Caroline’s own work.

A designer of exceptional talent, Caroline came to enotions to have a site produced which would act as her main marketing channel. As a result, the site needed to have a robust and flexible Content Management System to enable her to easily and quickly make updates as news and new projects arrived. enotions’ now “award winning CMS” gave her that along with a look that complimented her own design work.

Designing for designers can be a nerve-wracking experience but Caroline was fantastic, providing a clear brief and then allowing us to run with where we felt the design should go. Eventually we decided to pick out the key colour from each of the main images featured within the sections and use them as the navigation and section colours. It’s an understated, subtle approach that we think works really well. Caroline was delighted, and so were we.

It’s been a busy couple of months for enotions and we go into July with several new projects underway and to be unveiled soon! The plan was to have a quiet and relaxed summer this year. I don’t think that’s going to happen!
