As far as projects go, rebranding a catering company, followed by redesigning and building their website don’t come much tastier! And Forkingout was no exception.
The Salisbury-based catering company, whose culinary delights can be found at weddings, corporate events, private parties and business gathering all across the South, came to enotions for a complete refresh. They wanted us to shake up their branding and reposition them with a web presence befitting caterers with the reputation and impressive history that Forkingout do.
The first thing we did was look at their business as a whole, their current and future target audience along with their aspirations for the coming years. From here we were able to recognise the core creative and tonal elements that were right for their business for today and further down the line, and use these as the platform upon which to build the brand.
For branding, we wanted to create something which simplified their logo, whilst still acknowledging the past. The fork was the obvious choice, although we went through through several iterations till we got there (!), whilst the colour harked back to their old colour palette and a sense of fun.
For the photographs we hooked in our ace ‘go to’ photographer Paul Clifton, running several photo sessions, both on site in the Forkingout kitchens and in the field, at various events, to capture authentic live shots.
With an impressive library of images to work with, we were then able to create the web site, the focus on the beautiful plates of food that Forkingout produce.
Forkingout have been a joy to work with, a dynamic, exciting and forward-thinking company with experience, energy and an enormous sense of fun. We’ve made a great team, in part because we share these same values, and are looking forward to a long and fruitful (no pun intended) partnership for many years to come.
