It’s been over a month since our last update. Time seems disjointed since the lockdown, like that period between Christmas and New Year where you think you have all the time in the world before the new year starts and yet, before you know it, you’re there on January 1st thinking about what you’ve done and wondering where all those hours went!
It doesn’t really need to be said that it’s been a hard time for most business over the past couple of months. enotions has had its difficult, confusing and worrying moments but, thankfully, due to the nature of our business, the manner by which we’re set up and our size, we’ve been able to flex and reengineer ourselves to continue serving our customers with minimum disruption to their requirements, or us.
And we’ve been delighted to help many of our customers during this difficult time to better establish themselves and their services online, particularly those within the restaurant sector. We pride ourselves on our established web shop offerings, enabling us to quickly and cost effectively move a company’s shopfront online.
We’ve done exactly that with Anokaa, one of Salisbury’s finest and favourite restaurants. Serving renown Indian cuisine, Anokaa’s lavish interior dining decor and beautifully presented food made the prospect of setting up as a takeaway service for the restaurant owners initially a concern, worried about the impact it might have on their brand. To overcome this, we suggested they call the service ‘Anokaa Express’, building on the strengths of the Anokaa brand, whilst identifying that this was an evolution from the main Anokaa restaurant.
Launched last week, and supported with an active Facebook campaign, the restaurant’s takeaway enjoyed one of their busiest Friday and Saturday’s on record, the local Salisbury population clearly hungry for their favourite Indian cuisine!
